Hi friends,
Althea here to report on my first Christmas.
Apparently, this "Christmas" thing involves going to church a LOT, usually wearing really cute dresses. That's o.k. with me though, since I have lots of friends at church and a whole room just for me to play in. They call it the nursery. Of course, I share it with the other kids just to be nice.
This is a picture of me Christmas Eve morning.
Then here we were back in the same evening. Like the Santa dress?
I had a fun time racing around that night.
My parents have been reading me a book about the first Christmas (approximately 500 times) and it seems to involve a baby named Jesus being born in a barn. We always cheer when we get to that part of the story.
The next morning, my parents got me up EARLY. Yes, THEY got ME up before I really wanted to. Definitely a first. We went to church again for Julotta (Swedish Christmas sunrise service). I came in my red sleeper. Mom and I mostly hung out in the back of the sanctuary. I really liked the music and the candles.
Later on mama introduced me to the whole Christmas present thing. I like tags.
I also really like boxes!
Of course, the presents aren't bad either!
Check out my trick riding!
My parents continue to be amazed at my balancing abilities.
Well, I wouldn't say I've got the whole Christmas thing figured out yet, but my mama says even a lot of grown ups haven't got it yet.
But as you can see . . . I am intent on figuring this thing out!
Happy Epiphany, everybody!
