Many have asked about what our little one would be for Halloween--not knowing that actually, we ALL dress up. (How many times a year do you get to run around in fun costumes?!?)
Anyway, this year was a bit of a "call back" since Andrew and I were Ninjas again. But having found a little Ninja costume for Althea, how could we resist?
Technically though, she isn't dressed as a Ninja, but a "Minja." Minjas are "midget ninjas" as discussed on the very popular ask-a-ninja site.
You can see that Althea really was grooving on the little weapons that came as part of the costume. (Don't worry, they were very safe plastic.)
I'd like to say she loved the whole Halloween thing, but alas, that would not be so.
The dubious look you see at right was actually more the expression she wore as our doorbell kept ringing and weird looking people kept appearing at our door.
People like this . . .
After awhile, we had Baba just go answer the door.
But it wasn't long at all before our little Minja drifted off to sleep. It had been a busy, weird day.
And, due to the fact that she doesn't know any better, she didn't even get to eat a bunch of candy.
I doubt we'll get away with that one even next year!

Haven't been to the blog since before my BEAUTIFUL Great Niece came home. looks like she's as pretty as her Mom , and mischevious as her Dad. I am so very hapy for you all --- you are a beautiful family.
Much love, Uncle John
