March Madness

Monday, March 23, 2009 by Dawn B
Hello friends,
Althea here.

Well, I've been doing some deep reflection on how I spend my time, and after making some much-needed modifications to my hectic schedule, I'm hoping to have more time for blogging to all my fans out there.
My biggest change--telecommuting to preschool.
I figure the savings on drive time alone should make up the difference, not to mention that I won't need as much time for my morning "coif" if you know what I mean.

Lately, I've had some quality time with the folks and my sled. I love sledding! The rush, the snow, the excitement of having no idea where we might end up with mommy driving.

As much as I love the snow though, I'm also glad to see some warmer weather start to arrive. The main difference is this gives me a lot more time outside.
Here, I'm modeling the latest in rainy day fashions. Mommy says I'm so sunny in these, it'll make the rain go away. Silly mommy!
When I'm not looking for a hill to slide down or a puddle to splash in, I'm busy learning those letters. So far my favorite words are "green" and "mommy." It's completely a coincidence that mommy keeps pointing that word out to me in all my books.

Despite my hectic schedule, I still find time to kick back with my friends now and then. Here we are at a super fun soiree--cake, ice cream, a bunch of other hyper preschoolers and the tumble bus! Oh daddy! (The tumblebus is a school bus that has been converted into a portable gym for preschoolers. They drive around to day cares and parties spreading joy and happiness and teaching us what a "pike" position is.)

Well, friends, it's time to sign off. My schedule is just packed today. First, I'll be "tending" to be the teacher, then Speed Racer, then a ballerina, then back to being the teacher (those pretend preschoolers need my leadership!).

Enjoy the rest of your own "March madness!"
